day twenty-six of the April photo challenge: flattering. My sister was looking through photos on my camera and asked, “Was this for a cookoff?” When I told her it was what Jeff and I had for breakfast, she said, “What is wrong with you people?”
Baguette drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and then avocado, cheese, and tomato on top. Fruit on the side.

day twenty-four of the April photo challenge (I know I know, I’m mega behind): unedited. I normally would have cropped the lower right corner of this, but I don’t mind it as is. The Tom Waits charcoal was done by my sister Maddie. I treasure it.
day twenty-three is from Alex’s memorial and can be viewed on my flickr if you so wish.

day twenty-two of the April photo challenge: home. Home is wherever I’m with you.

day twenty-one of the April photo challenge: circle. An espresso macchiato Amanda made for me. I spent the afternoon with Laryssa, and the evening preparing & eating food with her other dinner guests. Very thankful for friends this past weekend.

day twenty of the April photo challenge: fill a space. Friends coming over to cook for you when you lose someone… their simple acts of care and love help fill the space left behind.
(days eighteen and nineteen can be viewed on my flickr if you wish, but I don’t want to subject people to more sadness if they don’t want to see it.)

day seventeen of the April photo challenge: bloom. My strawberry plants.

day fifteen of the April photo challenge: quadriptych. Sunday afternoon.

day fourteen of the April photo challenge: inspired by poetry.
